Influence of Aspergillus niger Phospho-compost on Growth, Dry Matter Yield and P Uptake of Maize

Aims: Soils in Ghana's coastal savanna are typically poor phosphorus (P), which has an impact on crop growth and productivity. The majority of West African phosphate rock formations not reactive; therefore, their direct applications do facilitate easy P availability to crops. Co-composting organic waste with using phosphorus-solubilizing microorganisms is the new paradigm adopted by scientists response lack (PSMs). goals this study were (1) assess effect Aspergillus niger dissolution during composting citrus (CW) rice straw (RS) (2) evaluate phosphor-compost growth, dry matter yield uptake maize.
 Methodology: Preparation compost took place at University Ghana Forest Horticulture Research Center, Okumaning Camp close Kade. Citrus used as feed stock. Each pile contained a mixture urea, Togo rock, feedstock 1:3:24 weight-to-weight ratio.
 Results: According findings, was superior dissolving phosphate. In pot experiment, phospho-composts assessed maize (Zea mays) test crop.
